I really enjoy reading the NYer’s architecture reviews, by Paul Goldberger.  He obviously knows his stuff (wrote for NYT for 25 years, dean of Parsons school of Architecture, etc etc) and the language he uses—that of light, texture, even movement—really make the buildings come alive.
